I have kids ages fr 26,18,13 ,8 My 18 nd i hv issue & she feels that i treat her diff fr th othrs? Some kids need to be treated different. Some children need more discipline than other children. I remember when I was 18; I thought my mom was the worst person in the world. Is she the only girl? Sometimes mothers tend to get along better with male children better than female,especially at 18 when it is hard learning the adult world. I'm not really certain of the situation but I would remind her that you love her just the same and that you're trying to help. I'm not really certain what to add to that without further details. i had the same problem that your daughter has. my mother cooks with food and spices to which i have allergies. she gave money to my older brother but not to me. she treated him so differently, and in my point of view alot better. She always kicked me out of the house when my dad was not around, and told me to earn my living. she always told my family i was a bum, even though i worked and got my college degree a year earlier than my generation. she is insane. has had depression for many years. doesnt go out of her house for weeks, she only goes out for a couple of hours. she complains about heardaches all year. i think she is bipolar. she sees a shrink, and is now trying for the past years to get a degree in psycology. i don't talk to my mom, and my life has been great. since i dont have a relashionship with her (for about a year now)...ive started to enjoy life, and understand that life isn't so hard, or isn't about suffering. so you choose what you want to do with your daughter. but dont be mean to her... that is my opinion |
