Can someone in Arlington give me some job leads, please?
Agencies!.....I used to think agencies were for losers....Not anymore. I moved to Arlington recently and the first thing I did was apply to about 5 different agencies and waited for them to get me work...Well it worked out... I had them calling me so many times that I had to actually choose from so many different jobs that I was lucky to have landed one through "Manpower". Its been 7 months now and I am still working at the place they referred me to but I got hired full time with the company making good money...I would recommend to anyone to give the agencies a try...Its kind of a hastle....but its well worth it...F.Y.I. I'm buying a house this week. craigslist.com ..... got my job that way They're right with the temp agencies, or you can call up the local stagehand union there and work backstage. It is called IATSE local ... (the city's respective number) They will hire anyone. International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees. Or you could find a job on the internet. However, don't fall for any of the online get rich quick scams. They're getting tricky and fancy with websites and all that. I fell for the get paid survey ones which are also a crock. you always have to fulfill the terms and conditions. I did find one online business though that I really thought was a scam and signed up for it when I was drinking one night and told myself I was only losing a twelve pack (lol). It was $15 to buy the training guide and unbelievably it's no scam. I'm making over $100 a day. Nothing spectacular, but off 15 bucks it's worth it.
