Do Job companies really take the time to check Online Job Applications? |
I have been Looking for a job since the Summer began. I have filled out about every company's job application that is available online. I have also been looking In-store also. I really need help since i have no idea how i'm going to pay for my books this semester. The tuition is covered, but the books are not. To answer the q, yes, they really look at them. Remember, summer is a tough time to get a job because so many people are off for the summer, students and teachers. You would be amazed at the number of teachers who get a job for the summer months. I know time is short but... Review your resume. When I saw a poor resume, I immediately tossed it into the maybe pile. If I found misspelled words I tossed it into the never pile. I always reviewed nice clean crisp resumes. Feel free to email your resume if you would like me to review. IF you need money fast run to the nearest fast food restraunt (sp?) and get an application...they seem to hire anybody (so iv herd) McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, Subway, quiznos, ect. Yes they do! most of the interviews i have been called to are from online applications. Put your resume in yahoo hot jobs. lol,,i don't think they review resumeswhich are sent online.. u should go in person . Believe it or not... they really do. But many of them may still have jobs posted but they may have been filled... so they don't really need anyone but the position seems to be available when its not. How about a sales opportunity? Check out the following position thats available... http://www.foodle.net/employment/srep.ph... I believe they are trying to hire people all over the United Sates to sell their services. |
