Is there a market for a combination of a MBA degree and MD?

I have almost 10 years experience of practicing as a MD. I am always interested in business and am considering a MBA program. Is there a market out there for a combination of MD and MBA? If so what are the possible positions?

Believe it or not, there is a very strong market for MBA's with experience as a practicing doctor, or even if you just had the license to do so.

Generally this combination focuses on business activities dealing with medicine or emergency management.

Some possibilities in Medicine:
-Legal Medication Sales, Medication Project Development, Clinical Testings, and similar combinations.
-MBA's are also able to become hospital administrators, and take jobs such as department coordinators, office managers, hospital director, regional director and likewise positions.

You can also go into Emergency Management and become:
-County, City, Region or State Emergency Services Director, Assistant Director, or Staffer. These people manage the logistics and business aspects of emergency responses and the services that provide these services. *Fire, and Police Departments.

These are just a few of the possibilities. I hope I helped!
