In a CV is it better to list your achievements and responsibilities at work, or to explain them in paragraphs? I had a brief discussion about this subject last night. I put in my c.v a brief description about my self and submitted certificates; I also made comment about having a meeting to find out about my work experience. It may get a face to face reply or not I am not sure...but if you ain't the time to meet with perspective employers then list your achievements. do not explain in paragraphs . just list them out . if u have any work experience then add that too. u should also list the extra curriculum activities. In a CV it has to be stright forward. Big companies recieve hundered if not thousands of CV every month. So, you should make your CV short and to the point, and that impresses them. You can list your achievments and responsibilities at work and then you can attach an Apendix explaining in it the list. It is better to explain your achievments and responsibiltiies for each company separately in neat paragrahs. Do be elaborate be simple and explain the essence of your achievement. In a CV it is better to list your achievements and responsibilities at work. Achievement and Responsibilities are gained through a period of time, its important to mention the period against each Achievement. The CV should not be too long, |
