Im 21 years old and having trouble getting my life together?

Im having trouble finding motivation for getting a job and everything. I really want to get some money together and get my own place and a car but i feel like this is impossible since i basically can only get a job paying min wage.......any advice?

You will only be able to get a job that pays minimum wage with little or no work experience. Set your goals. If you feel it's impossible, you'll always be stuck in a rut.
It might be harder than it seems too, cause a car payment (if it's your first) can cost between $100-500 monthly. Then rent, depending on location, can cost about $450-700 monthly. There is no possible way on minimum wage.

I'd recommend getting a job- first priority. Then think about everything else second. If you have a decent place to live and transportation, it's not the end of the world.

Find something you enjoy doing and then work hard toward that direction. If you have enough passion and work hard enough... with some luck everything will fall into place. Just keep an open mind and realize that there are going to be some set backs.
Try reading, "Think and Grow Rich" and "What Color is Your Parachute." They'll tell you how to find or create your dream job.
Work a low-paying job for a while if necessary to get in the swing of things. Try the employment agencies; most will even let you switch jobs if you don't like the first one assigned. Don't buy every stupid little gotta-have item that comes along, and try not to screw up your credit rating. The time I saved the most money was while working a low-paying job with minimal expenses. Try your hand at construction, painting, bricklaying, or some other trade if it interests you. One can make a lot of money in those fields, and there will always be a demand for them. Try to get your finances and credit built up to where you can purchase your own home instead of renting forever. You don't want to be my age dealing with some of the same problems.
