What are some careers that use analytical skills regularly?

I will be graduating with a BA in English this year and I am having trouble with choosing a career. I have thought about becoming a lawyer but would also like some other ideas for types of analysts (slightly realistic ones). I know there are financial analysts but I doubt an English degree would work for that but I can't really think of any others. Thanks. (PS- I am NOT looking for a list of careers for English majors in general, I just want some ideas for using analytical skills.)

Well, I'm a laboratory medical technologist and that's about as an analytical job a person can have! LOL! However, I don't think your degree would qualify you for that since you probably don't have the science and math background.

The first thing that came to my mind was either law enforcement (detective), the FBI, or the CIA. The FBI and CIA need people with keen analytical minds who are detail oriented and can stay on task.
