How to quit a job at the mall??

this was my first job and school's coming around the corner so i need to quit in time for it.
ugh i hate school.

what do i do?!

Well, first off, school is more than a month off for most people. Perhaps talk to your boss and tell her you are returning to school in the fall but would like to work part time on weekends. If that isn't your intent, just write her a letter about two weeks before school starts.....

Please accept this letter as my notice of resignation. My last day of work will be August........It has been a pleasure working with you.

That's all you need to do. Give 2 weeks notice!! That is standard notice for anyone. Your boss is not required to accept your notice if they choose not to. That is, they can opt to just let you leave right away.
Figure out what day you want to be your last. Then 2 weeks before that give your boss a letter stating that due to school, my last day will be (fill in the blank). Also state that you would like to be considered to work during Christmas Break, if you'd like to earn a little money over the holidays.
You make a formal letter, address it to your immediate supervisor-- Let them know that you intend on going back to school and you will not be able to continue working for them, give them the date of the last day you will be able to work for them. A very polite thing to do (whether you mean it or not) is to thank them for the opportunity to work for them. It is really simple, you need to sign it..... and turn it in!!
Explain it with a letter!
Honesty is good!
Steal stuff.....
Pu t in writting, when your last day will be.
You may not plan on going back but you don't want to mess up your work history, considering it's your first job and the next job you go to will call them to check you out.
tell them that school is starting so "I have to quit"
