Mass Communication or Accountancy? |
I really like getting into television, movies, and others of the same sort. But what i'am thinking is that if I will take MasCom I will have a hard time looking for jobs. In accountancy there are a lot of opportunities out there. What should I take? Something I like or Something that promises good life for me? Seriously, I asked myself this question after I took up a course. I actually wanted to be a journalist, but people told me that money was in the business world, so I took up Accountancy. Now that I am a CPA, I'm seriously wondering if i took up the right course. My advice for you is this: is money or salary a priority for you? Because if it is, then I suggest you take up Accountancy because there are a lot of great, high paying jobs in that field. However, that doesn't mean you can't indulge in your love for television or movies. Since you are still on your way to college, you can sign up for extra-curricular activities that involve television or movies and enjoy your time. When you work, you can still find some ways to do what you love, maybe you can make friends with the HR department and use your creativity in making corporate "movie" announcements and that sort of things. After a while, if you think you have enough resources, then you can go do what you love most. But, if you can support yourself without looking for a high-paying job, then go ahead and take something that you love. If you really are into movies that much, go take up a course in a Film/Television Academy and not Mass Communication. I hope that you make the right decision for yourself. The important thing really is that you enjoy whatever career you plan to take or else you will end up frustrated and you'll end up hating whatever you do. Good luck!! it depends on u like which one last time i have a hard time to choose my course but i have decided the one which promise me a good life so u think??? |
