Please help me!! I made a mistake in my career move, and I quitted my job after 2 weeks.?

I worked in pharma industry for a year and a half, and I was looking to change my job. When I went to the recruiter, he asked me if I was interested in becoming a recruiter, so I signed the contract and decided to work - big mistake! I quitted after 2 weeks, and next week I will have an interview with a pharma company for a position. I want to keep this 2 weeks work experience as a secret, but they might find that out through my social insurance tracking etc. What should I do or how should I explain this situation?

I agree that honesty is the best policy, you can just explain to whoever is interveiwing you that you realized you are better suited for the job that you are applying to. Tell them that you are seeking a career in which you can utilize your skills and not waste them.
It's honest but it doesn't make it seem like you were just bailing on a job.
Best way always, is the truth. Explain why it happened and if your honest and upfront you can even score browny points off it.
I agree that you should be honest about it. You can claimed that you quit because there was not a good fit. We all make mistakes in our career moves.
Yep the truth. You did not want to be a recruiter, it was not for you. I wouldnt worry about it too much.
