How to find a job that makes you happy? First, look in the mirror. What do you see? Write down some responses on paper, (not the computer) and read aloud how you responded to yourself. This will help guide you to a path where the choices will stem from intuition in your gut. I went many years without knowing what I should be doing until I was able to discover my true passion. Also, this exercise should not be overwhelming or even difficult. If you simply ask yourself who you are, where you came from and where do you want to go... I hope this helps! Only one thing you can do start your own business, but there will be some days you don't like that much either. First, you must discover what makes YOU really happy. A common misconception among us humans is that where we are, what we're doing and with whom we're doing it make us happy. This is simply not true. Other people and things can bring us joy ... but his is not to be confused with true happiness. Being truly happy requires work. It means getting up every morning and choosing happiness rather than the myriad of lesser alternatives. Happiness comes from within. Yes, outside influences such as jobs, people, environment, can affect our state of being, but our overall attitude and approach to life still remains. By extension, if you choose unhappiness, anger or depression, then odds are that's how you'll feel -- regardless of what you're doing. |
