What would be a cool job for a teenager?

I'm 14, and trying to plan things out a little.

In two years, I can get a job, and I was wondering what would be a "cool" job.

Like working at someplace like American Eagle, or PacSun, or would that be weird?

I'm open to any thoughts, comments, suggestions, so share your mind!

Try working at your local supermarket, It will give you the insight into a career in dealing with all type of people.
It's not easy, but learn just how difficult it is before going on
to collage and picking a course toward dealing with people
daily or a career not dealing with the public. Source(s): experance dealing with the public and private businesses

A cool job is one that is going to get you some experience that you can use in the future. What are you interested in? I don't think you can work at those places you suggested if you are only 14. You are more likely to get babysitting or mowing the lawn type jobs. I think the "coolest" jobs are the ones that let you be able to deal with the public and make friends - especially when you are 14.
Work in an auto shop dude. You learn a lot, you'll work with cool dudes, you'll get your hands dirty, and chicks dig it.

It pays well too...
What exactly do you mean by a "cool" job? You need to search for a job that makes the money. Working at a store in the mall would probably be considered a "cool" job while working at a grocery store or a fast-food restaurant would be "uncool" jobs. Working at really nice restaurants would be a "cool" job, and if you are good with people and being a waiter, you could get nice money. I have a friend who makes $18/hr delivering pizzas. But of course he probably has to pay for his own gas, so that's why he gets so much an hour.
how about the YMCA , or a golf course. if you know what field you want to go into for college, then it's a great time to try to work in that area . it will look great on your resume for future. anything you get though is a job and the experience is what you need. good luck.
