Is there anwhere I can get a job when I am 14? |
I don't want to hear about those internet jobs. O.K.? Well I want to start saving up for a car and stuff. So I would need a well paying job for a 14 year old. Babysitting is the best. Tax free! And easy. If you take a First Aid class you can charge more. Going rate around my area is $5 for one kid, $1 extra for each more. Check w/ your neighborhood, church, & parents friends. At your age, I held a decent babysitting job that paid regularly. I went on vacation w/ the family and saved up for a trip to England when I was 16! Babysitting??? Maybe kfc usually hired 14 yr olds =) newpaper you have to be 15-wahtever to get a job cutting laws...helping someone on something collect cans and so on you'll never get a "well paying" job at 14, maybe not even minimum wage. Do you really want a job at 14? I thought I did. I've been working ever since. I'm tired of working!! It's great you want to save up for a car and everything. But once you save up for the car you are going to have to keep working for the gas and insurance. As far as a good paying job, good luck on that one. My first job at 14 was working on a farm picking strawberries. Everyday from 6am till noon. I didn't even make $100 that summer. But I did have tons of fun! |
