Does anyone regret going to college??

im not sure exactly what i want to be yet but i want it to be a stable job with flexible hours. my mom wants me to go to college but im not sure if i want to. currently i work at a greenhouse and im really interested in whorediculture but that does not require a degree. i was thinking of maybe managing my own greenhouse later in life. im a senior in highschool and im supposed to be looking at colleges and figuring out what i want to do but i just cant decide. any suggestions??

No, I don't regret going to college. In fact, I feel very lucky to have been able to attend a 4 year university right out of high school. Its an experience that can't be replicated - even by people who try to go back to school years later.

To be surrounded by a group of your peers and have unlimited learning opportunities available to you. Not just book learning (which is important, of course), but also learning about yourself, life, the world, your peers. Who would want to pass that opportunity up if it were available to them?
I loved college. It was a great experience and I am going back for my graduateds degree.
I cant get enough of it.
My friend went to clown school, he makes 50 to 100 bucks a party. Does at least one a day.
Not really regret it, but regret that I went while I didn't know what i wanted to do. You get a degree in history and can't do anything with it unless you want to teach or get a phd. Now i'm going back to school while i'm a union theatrical stagehand, and i'm doing a work from home computer thing which are both really easy.
No. Even if you don't use what you go for, education is never a waste in my opinion.
And a monetary consideration--People with a college degree make alot more than people without.
I regret not going to school until after having kids and getting old. Take a year off, than go. No Matter what degree you may want there are classes that everybody no matter what your major is. Go ahead and take those classes, (most credits are good for seven years) and than take a break or go to school part time until you figure out what you want to do.
College is very enjoyable, you'll make better friends than high school. You will open many doors to opportunities and find interests that you may not know you have. I went at 19 and than quit until I was 27. I was glad for the credits I took at 19 they still transferred and saved me having to retake those basic classes.
I do not regret going to college, but I regret not continuing on to get a degree. Education is very important, and will always help you in your adult life to attain a good job.

There's always time to be with your friends and have fun. That's doesn't require a degree, just the spare time.

If you enjoy gardening, then taking some courses in Horticulture would be a very good choice for you. You want to pick a subject that interests you and is in demand.
Good luck!
