You may want to look at the nearest Golf Course--this is a great way to get your foot in the door to what is the most up & coming demand. Or you may want to look into working at a near by hospital--another growth in the Scottsdale area for example. anywere that doesnt need a collage educarion try like a grocery store There are multiple ways to gather information and to learn about industries and available jobs. You can: 脴 Use the internet and search company home pages and job sites 脴 Network with friends, family and colleagues 脴 Conduct research and contact companies directly 脴 Answer classified ads in newspapers, professional journals, and trade papers 脴 Attend job fairs and open houses 脴 Contact the placement office of your school 脴 Work with support groups 脴 Canvass community and civic associations 脴 Use an employment agency 脴 Look in the Yellow Pages and "cold call" 脴 Check state employment and service centers 脴 Call employment hot lines in specific companies Career development specialists have found through experience that directly contacting targeted companies and networking are the job search methods that give the best results. The overwhelming majority of jobs (85 to 90 percent of them) are found this way. They work because they lead to jobs that are often not advertised widely, jobs that few people know about. Peace and every blessing! |
