Am I selected? |
I went for a 2nd interview one week ago and the interviewer told me very frankly that she had shortlisted only 2 candidate for this 2nd round interview. She commented that my requested pay is too high compared to the other candidate and asked if I am prepared to further negotiate. I told her yes as I do not want to lose the opportunity of joining their team just becos my expected pay is high but she also said that if she offer me too low, I might not accept. She finds that the other candidate and me, each had our own strength. Today I check the status on jobstreet and the no. of candidate under consideration has reduced to 1. Job status still vacant. My status is still under consideration. Do you think she has already offered the job to the other candicate and put me under consideration in case the other candidate did not turn up. Or will I be expecting their offer soon. What does the status on Jobstreet represent? be patient ,if still no call look for other jobs give 48 hours and then call again if no success or the result you want then you probably don't have it u go ask them directly! Call and ask them if you are still being considered for the position. This will show to them that you are interested in the job. Peace and blessings! |
