What would be a good job to look into after getting burnt out from pet grooming for so long? |
I have been a dog groomer for 7 years. I still love it and it will always be my passion. I will continue to do this, on the side, But I can't do this FOREVER. I'm getting older and you really have to be in top physical shape to do this successfully. It effects my stress level and my physical level. I feel so tired. I still love it but I don't want to end up like some of my co-workers... surgeries and bitterness. I would like to get out soon but the money is so good and I need at LEAST $500.00 MINIMUM a week. I don't have a degree and I'm afraid t I may be screwed. Any suggestions? I think i may need a desk job for a while before I get burnt out. Mabye just temporary...Obviously I would have to take a major cut in pay, but I think iIneed a break. Any suggestions out there as to any ideas of what kind of job I can take that's not so stressful and physical? I do have other talants like Piano, Guitar and data entry... So my question is: where do groomers go when they need to move on? Take a look at work at home jobs or telecommuting. You can work at home and continue with pet grooming on the side.
