I am so desparate I cant find a job? |
Ok so school is almost here and I need a job quick and I already applied in all the places where I think they hire 16 year olds. Any suggestions? Go to a mall and cold call. Bring copies of your resume with you. If they give you an application form ask if you can bring it home. If not, answer all questions. Put 'Not Applicable' or N.A for questions that do not apply to you. Use black ink when accomplishing the form. Peace and blessings! Check back with the manager every week or two in all the places where you submitted applications. Either call the manager (during a traditionally non-busy time of day) or drop in dressed nicely with good grooming. Ask to talk to the manager & ask the manager if they have any openings right now. If they do, ask for an interview. If they don't let him/her know you'll be checking back in another week or two because you'd really like to work there. With school starting, you might have increased chances as people need to reduce hours b/c of school. Also, the holidays are coming up & that increases your chances, too. |
