Psychology and Political Science? |
Hey I was wondering what I could/ career I could have from double majoring and receiving a bachelor's in Psychology and Political Science? Thanks! They are incompatible. Why don't you find a major that will complement your specialisation? For example if you want to major in Psychology and you have plans of working in the business world why not take subjects in mass communications? Peace and blessings! Ambassador Political Consultant for Foreign Affairs/ Embassy Editor for a newspaper Psychiatrist And everything in between u can do anything u want. both are liberal arts majors. those are what my degrees are in. i worked for a congressman for a while, and now am applying for houston police force. u will find that u r a double threat for anyone u come in contact with, because u understand the legal end of things, and the psychology behind a person's actions. psychology alone is useless unless you get your psy.d or mft, or so on. if your a good writer try writing for the newspapers. you can also apply for government jobs. but i think it might be best if you continued your education and get a masters degree in a field in political science and start teaching college students. the reason why i didn't say why not teach for high school kids is that it's tough, unless you have alot of patience. Don't listen to whoever said they're incompatible! Top contributors these days ... psh! You could work for the UN as an advisor (or as George Bush's advisor ... he could use one or two or ten ...), or work as a government psychoanalyst for the U.S. or Poland or France or anywhere else, as long as you get the politics of that country down.
