Six sigma green belt requirements?

Hello everyone,
I have 3 years project management experience. But I do not have any hands-on experience in six-sigma environment or projects. Am I qualified to take the exam by ASQ?
Also, would this certification give me any chance to get a job doing six sigma projects?
Thanks,

Maya,

Any Six sigma certification involves actual hands-on project handling experience and exposure to practicing cost-reduction techniques that result in savings.

If you are looking for a job, then try other quality related certifications like CQA - certified Quality Analyst for process improvement jobs in software or other certifications like Quality improvement Associate or Quality process analyst - that will help you land a job.

Choose a company that practices six sigma and then go for the six sigma stack certifications. Most likely the company will have its own certification program - since six sigma involves many people - not just one/few individuals.

Good luck !
