Work jealousy? |
Do you think that women coworkers are jealous of a beautiful woman that they work with.. Part of the corporate culture. Men and women take jobs because they also want to meet people they will marry. Peace and blessings! some women are, some aren't. The question really should be why do women even bother, they should just do their job. Gossip in the workplace is not always a jealousy thing, its usually because one person is not very good at what they do. So to compensate that lack of skill they gossip and spread false information to divert attention to someone else. Its not just women though men do it also and looks are only what the "pretty one" thinks its about, its always something underlying. in some cases yes and sometimes it can get ugly but sometimes no and their friends No, But I have found that most of the time prettier women have better jobs than ones who are say average pretty. (and they get jobs more easily.) I have felt that most of the time I dont get a position because I dont fit in with the "look" of the company. I don't think it's jealousy as much as feeling threatened. Insecurity is the basis of that. If only women would realize they could accomplish so much more as a team if they'd leave their emotions out of the situation. I've rallied many female teams - got them to sit down and get their petty problems either dealt with or put aside, and we've accomplished so much more than groups where there was jealousy and petty sniping going on. Gossip just spreads evil. |
