I had an interview at Blockbuster and might start working there. Can anybody that works there or knows anybody that does tell me what kind of employee discounts I might be able to get. Hello. I work at blockbuster. You get Five free movies and/or games a week and a 20% discount. Sometimes around holidays and employee appreciation month the discount is changed to 25-30%. You also are entitled to 12-15% off your Sprint Nextel phone bill because of a partnership they have with Blockbuster.You also may get discounts at nearby businesses that have partnerships or just out of kindness. At my store we enjoy 50% off at Papa John's Pizza, 15% off at wingzone, free refills at Circle K, and the occassional free movie theater ticket. At one location I worked at we also had 50% off at the next door Taco Bell/ Pizza Hut. Hope you enjoy work! I had a buddy work there. He got 5 free rentals a week (games and movies) and 20% off discounts on anything bought. Plus, an unspoken "bonus" has always been getting to see the movies before they were released. Since they got the movies and games like 3-4 days before they were released to the public, they always had fist dibs on then. Good luck at the job! i work at BB. you get 5 rentals a week. and 20% off concessions. and 10% off retale items...like if you buys movies/games/systems/whatnot. and you get the movies a week or two before they are released! i love working there. i even have a huge poster collection from work! |
