Florida companies normally give a new employee a 90 day evaluation, but I still haven't got a raise. WHY?

I have over six years experience in garage doors and I know I am worth more than $9.00 per hour but I still haven't heard again, about my evaluation and it has been over 90 days, I am a hard working employee and they know I can't afford to lose this job. I guess that's why there taking so long. HELP

When you took the job did they tell you that you would be evaulated in 90 days? Better yes is it in writing that you would be evaluated in 90 days? How long over 90 days has it been? If it is 91 days, don't sweat it. If it is 180 days I would elevate the situation to Human Resources.

Again, before you elevate anything, make sure you were told they would evaluate you after 90 days.
I don't have a clue what Florida companies normally do, but were you told you would receive a rise after 90 days when you took the job?
Were you told you would get an eval and a raise after 90 days? If so ask when it will occur- if not and you need more than $9. look for another job. I hope the scowl on your avatar DOES not indicate your usual demeanor.
First of all, no one says you have to have a 90 day evaluation. Not every company operates this way. Did your particular company tell you that you'd be evaluated after 90 days? If so, then go to your supervisor and remind him/her that you're due for your review. Most bosses get very busy and lose track of this sort of thing. Chances are, he'll be surprised when you tell him that you've already been there 3 months.

Also, most companies DON'T give a raise at the first 90 day review. Did they tell you to expect more money? If not, don't assume you're getting a raise! I'd be surprised if you get one now. Typically, you don't get a raise until you've been on the job a year.
