Can One Go From Being A Recruitment Consultant To Being An Investment Banker???

Can One Go From Being A Recruitment Consultant To Being An Investment Banker???

The fact that someone is / has been a recruitment consultant in no way prevents them from being an investment banker! Its not directly tranferable, so said person would have to accept starting pretty much at the bottom though.

More important is having / being able to proove the requisite skills for investment banking. A good 2.1 in a numerate degree is pretty much a must, and its pretty darn competative so anything you can add to that really.

Prospects have a good intro to the job and requirements etc.
