Should I reapply? |
I'm considering on reapplying with a company that I had an interview with 2 months ago for a different position which my experience seems better suited for. The last time I was there, I received a letter stating that for the position I was pursuing at that time, they were considering other people who had better qualifications. Does that mean I should give up with this place? The HR lady told me that my experience was excellent, but it's really up to the head of the program to decide who gets hired. This is a very good company with great benefits, a good reputation and has room for internal advancement. I don't know how to start my coverletter seeing that I've already applied and been interviewed by this company before, but for a different job. Should I go ahead and apply? If so, how do I start my coverletter with? Should I wait 6 months and try again? My experience will pretty much be the same by then but I think this job will really improve me. Thanks! You should try applying for this other job. Just make sure that your cover letter says which job you are applying for. Don't even mention that you applied for another job. It wouldn't hurt to try try again! Go for it. Never give up, if you feel like you are more suitable for this position then go for it. Good luck. |
