I have a question???

I was just wondering... I got called for an interview tomorrow. I am 20 and I have only had one job in my life and it was only a summer job while i was in high school. Well the place called me for an interview today and told me I needed 2 work references and 1 personal reference. My question is... do I WRITE these references on a piece of paper or what?? It has been 4 years since I have had my first job so how do I get a reference from them?? I am not sure about this one

Name the professional references....Name of company, your supervisor and another professional that knew you and your work, or someone in a higher position than yours, etc., the address of the company, and phone number. If these individuals are no longer employeed with the firm the employer will most likely ask for human resources. If you have been in school since your summer job, maybe you can use a teacher as a professional or personal reference.

Regarding how to present them: I would put these on page 2 of your resume even if you have to send the entire resume again. Use the same header and footer, page 2 which will most likely be in the footer. Source(s): As a hiring manager I would be impressed with the presentation on professional hard stock paper, possibly in a resume jacket. (and I like a paper clipped resume if it has more than 2 pages because it is easier than turning a stabled copy. My preference only)
It is better to write all your references...and proof read it like 10 times before submitting...one mistake and they will disqualify you!..trust me..I do this for a living...

Reference Letter Template

Salutation
If you are writing a personal letter of reference, include a salutation (Dear Dr.Smith, Dear Mr. Jones, etc.). If you are writing a general letter, say "To Whom it May Concern" or simply don't include a salutation.
Paragraph 1
The first paragraph of the reference letter template explains your connection to the person you are recommending, including how you know them, and why you are qualified to write a reference letter to recommend employment or graduate school.

Paragraph 2
The second paragraph of the reference letter template contains specific information on the person you are writing about, including why they are qualified, what they can contribute, and why you are providing a reference letter. If necessary, use more than one paragraph to provide details.

Paragraph 3
When writing a specific letter referring a candidate for a particular job opening, the reference letter template will include information on how the person's skills match the position they are applying for. Ask for a copy of the job posting and a copy of the person's resume so you can target your reference letter accordingly.

Summary
This section of the reference letter template contains a brief summary of why are you are recommending the person. State that you "highly recommend" the person or you "recommend without reservation" or something similar.

Conclusion
The concluding paragraph of the reference letter template contains an offer to provide more information. Include a phone number within the paragraph, include the phone number and email address in the return address section of your letter, or in your signature.

Sincerely,

First of all, I want to say that I don't believe in those websites posted above. I don't have any proof that they don't work, but it all seems like a scam to me... and every time I've tried to look into getting paid to do surveys, they ask me for money first. That's bullsh*t.

Anyway, about jobs. It would be a good idea to contact two people from your previous job. Hopefully you were on good terms during your employment there. Let them know you need to use them as a reference if they don't mind. Do some small talk and be done with it. I'm sure they have heard it all before. Then you want to type up their information as professional looking as possible, on a *plain* sheet of comp paper. Nothing fancy. Be sure to note your info on the top of the page in case it gets separated from your resume.
I work for a Human Resources company...
