How can I get job "experience" if no one will give me a job? |
I have a 4 year degree, double majored. I have plunty of work exsperience, WHY WONT THEY HIRE ME?! What does it take to get "exsprience" when every one requires 2 or more years of it but only with a high school degree? Don't they realize that I have done just as many complicated projects in school, if not harder, then many of these secritarial positions? I have had to work with just as many difficult personalities and make a billion phone calls in one day in order to ensure that I get my top grades as the secritary does in order to ensure the office runs smoothly. I'm very frustrated. So, how DO you get job "exsperience"? Is there any way to start out with an internship? I don't know what you majored in but it most of the business degrees, companies are more willing to hire people as an intern because it is about training the new person to be a good employee. i'm confused, first u say that u do have work experience..then u're complaining that the employers are looking for ppl w/ more then entry level experience...what's the problem? besides, "job experience" doesn't even have to be a paid job..it can be volunteer work and such. but to answer the question "How can I get job "experience" if no one will give me a job?"...do more volunteer work or community service...that still counts as a job experience bc u are working but not for money. show leadership skills and experience working w/ others and etc. that can land a job... This can be very frustrating. It is like getting credit when no one will give you any. I would try to take an entry level job in a field that you are interested in and working those required 2 years and you should have no trouble getting a job. Good luck. I dont mean to be flippant, but for somebody with a 4 year degree, double majored, your spelling is atrocious.eg, plunty exsperience,secritarial, secritary. I was going to mention a home based job, but i think you will need to retake english language first!
