How do you become a critic like for movies or food? |
How do you become a critic like for movies or food? It would be best if you have journalism or broadcasting experience. I did movie reviews for our high school newspaper, and college as well and kept those articles. I submitted those articles as well as personal reviews I wrote to local papers. I was successful at it, and it was lots of fun! But don't fret if you never had experience. Just start writing reviews for plays, concerts, movies you've seen and submit them to local papers. Talent is talent, if they recognize it! Make sure you have good writing skills and can express your opinions well. Use analogies in your writing, be witty and humorous, but appear very serious about your review as well. Set the tone for your own style. Good luck! Call your local newpaper... they might have a job for that. |
