Is $7.25 an hour decent pay for a teenager?


I'm 16 and I have a part time retail position that pays 7.25 an hour . The minimum wage in my state is $6.20. I also have a second job that pays minimum wage just to have something else to do on the side.

For your age and experience, anything above minimum wage is great.
$7.25 is very good pay for a teenager.

For a retail job, 7.25 is a good starting range. Just remember, this is a parttime job and not your life!

Im pretty sure thats the new minimum wage in illinois so I thinknits pretty standard.
