What are some good careers that have 80k+ yearly salaries?? |
and involve a minimal amount of time in school?? VERY few: If these jobs existed they would BE WAY over demand and SATURATED with people making it an extremely competive area of skill (ex. Lawyers) Try to get ATLEAST a bachelors degree and we'll talk. The best you can do is a "get rich quick' scheme. Something in IT or perhaps creating computer games. interesting question. It really isn't always about education. I've seen technicians with between two years and four years experience make over 80K in a year. Of course that was repeptitive work, and lots of overtime. good waiters in Vegas can make that much, but its not a gurantee...depends on your customers. Finance mjaors always make pretty good money and of course the lessons. Also nurses can start at that much these days. there are many more. I think you should think more about what you would enjoy doing. nothing is worse than having to go to a job you hate. Engineers--Electrical, nuclear, architectural, nano, bio, and etc. Network and Software Security programmers International Law International Finance--banking Corporation law Political Campaign Management--local, state, national Dentist Nursing-specialized with 3-5 yrs exp. Physician Assistant Pharmacy You can make that much in a lot of careers, but not right off the bat. OTR truck drivers often make over 100k, and other vocations like electritians, construction contractors, heating/cooling contractors, and plumbers can all make over 100k if you market your services and build a good reputation. The idea of getting more education to make more money is no longer true in today's economy. If you are money motivated you should either go into stock brokerage, real estate, or try to save money and get started with a franchise business. You won't get rich by spending lots of years in school, but you will be a smarter person if you attend a good college between the ages of 18-22. Then, get out and start making some money. You can make 80K+ per year doing almost anything if you set a goal to make that much money and design everything you do toward money making. There are real estate careers, franchises to buy, cars to sell, come up with a niche to fill, fill it well and charge for your services. Or bite the bullet and go to school to get credentialed for skills required for professional positions that pay well. Skilled trades still pay very well, but you must spend a considerable amount of time as an apprentice. Then once you've developed an outstanding skill, you can sell your skill for a good price. What do you love to do? (sitting in your favorite chair doesn't count). If you don't want school, do what you love and do it well, and you won't care if you don't or you will earn the 80K+. And yes, you can take engineering, architecture, medicine, etc. but that is a lot of school. Win a lottery and maybe you won't need to work at anything. I think even an enterprising tree trimmer could make 80K+ in some areas but you must be willing to work hard, work long hours and do most of the work yourself. K? Good luck. |
