Careers involving writing, culture, and the arts?

I'm going to pursue more than one career, and my BA or BS can be in whatever I choose (after which I'll get a MS in PA Studies).

So what area should I study for my BA if I will eventually pursue a career in culture, arts, and writing (and reviewing or teaching)? Any ideas of careers that involve these aspects?

Thanks for your help!

Well I can only speak for myself, but as a Art History major, which involves writing, culture, arts, reviewing, reviewing this is what I have chose, or other options in the field. For a undergraduate degree many people major in business, english (creative writing) or a foreign language. I personally chose art history at that time as well and minored in french. Know that these careers in the humanities are difficult at best to obtain, so its in your best interest to be as specific and for lack of a better term marketable. An expert even. Possible careers in art history are...Appraising, Auctions, Teaching, Writing, restoration, conservation, librarian (archiving), museum studies/work, gallery work, sales. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I have other friends in the humanites and I might be able to give better advice if I knew your interests better. Good luck!
