Can you really get a job online? |
It seems that everyone has a resume online. I just want to know if I have good chances to get a job off the internet. I really don't want to go door to door looking for work. I'm lazy. Almost all exempt level professional positions are posted online today. Newspaper ads are a waste if you are targeting those professionals. In the past 3 years, finding jobs online has extended to hourly workers as well. Source(s): 10+ years in HR and recruiting. By submitting your resume on Monster or Careerbuilder, you stand a good chance of getting an interview. I don't think you would get hired directly. YEs, you can! http://www.jobbanks.com http://monsters.com seems like its mostly recruiters that respond to online resumes. a few from employers too. if anything its good for interview practice. got my last job by applying directly to the company on their website. I agree that online is the way to go these days. But you must pursue the job you want. Hiring pros are too busy reading resumes being sent to them, to be online searching for you. Pick the company(s) you want to work for and make sure you get your resume to them. Yes you can find a legit job online but it's really hard. Don't pay any attention to the people sending you links to their blogs. they are scams. i learned it at stopinternetscams.net |
