I got a new job the other day(friday) and I was going to start being a telemarketer today, but didn't show up because It just seemed like a crappy job. It was not that much money, and thre hours were the worst. please tell me i'm not an idoit. would you have gone.
I signed up for a telemarketing job that hired lots of young people and listed the job as "permanently temporary". I quit right after training because it was more than crappy. You're not an idiot, you did the right thing.
The time to have made that decision was really at the time the job was offered. You could have said "no" then. I hope you at least had the decency to call them to let them know you would not be starting.
