What kind of job can i get? |
i have almost completed BA in finance and international business and planning and on getting an MBA with a focus of international business. what kind of job can i expect, with what company, how much does it pay? You need to know what your goals are for your career. If you don't have a focus, employers won't be interested. Regarding the MBA - I would strongly advise waiting at least 5 years until you get your MBA. You get much more out of it after you have several years of business experience in the "real world". Plus you'll have a much better idea of what direction you wish to turn. In fact, most tier 1 MBA schools (the schools where the MBA really means high dollar) will not even consider you without at least 5 years. Source(s): 10+ years in recruiting and HR. If you can't answer these questions, then you really shouldn't be going for that MBA. Why? Because top MBA students are those that research these things before shelling out money. They've already done the math and already have a sense of what they want to do. OK, but what IS the answer? There are many jobs you could get. If you're a good student from a known MBA program, expect a starting salary of $80,000 to $100,000. Maybe less if you go into a field that's already bloated with qualified people or if you go to a "lesser" school (no reflection on quality, but simply on reputation). Expect at the low end of the range if you're not going to Harvard or Wharton and don't have "it" (whatever that is). You can easily bring in a lot of legitimate cash completing free offers on GPT sites. GPT (Get Paid To) websites are a good and easy way to make fast and free money online.
