Fast typing? |
hey guys... i have a question about fast typing. what the fastest way one can learn how to type fast in the shortest time. any software? any advice? thanx. Before computers became so popular, people used typing books that displayed the proper placement of the hands on the keys and had typing drills for the learner to perform. When I purchased a computer in the 80s it came with a program Typing Teacher. I used it in an attempt to enhance my skills. I actually prefer the older method because I feel that the learner controlled pace made me feel more confident in my abilities rather than the computer version which always made me feel inferior (I now type about 65 wpm). From personal experience, computer classes do include how to type properly and they teach you how to type without looking at the keyboard, it can be really helpful if u have alot of practice and someone teaching you. No tests required. Just remember which fingers are places first on which letters when u begin typing. I've had 10 years experience, so typing fast just comes natural with learning and the more time u spend on the computer typing to people or blogging on yahoo or elsewhere. Before I was so slow in typing but, my sis advice me to play the typer shark's game (i just can't remember the title). Soon enough, I memorized the keyboard and now has the speed of 52wpm not bad huh! I could start touch-typing using my 10 fingers in just one week.
