How much does a bank teller make an hour ?

How much does a bank teller make an hour ?

It depends on the cost of living in your area, and the going rate that other companies pay their employees.

When I was looking for a job (here in Colorado) I was offerered a position as a teller for $10/hr. This was at Compass Bank. This was before the minimum wage in CO was raised to $6.85 (and was still $5.15). I participated in hiring at my other job at a movie theatre, and we hired people at $5.75/hr.

So, you won't make anything extra, but you can make a paycheck to paycheck living as a teller.
Depending on where your located it's not much, around $15-$25 at the most.
I used to make 10/hour.
$10 to $14 an hour. A really good bank may pay a bit more but these jobs are the lowest paying in the bank so it is best to view them as entry level only.
I work in a bank.
