And in austin texas but not any sales type job because he doesn't like that type of stuff. oh and how do people get hired offshore? Apply for a job with the state. In CT, the guys that paint lines on the highway get paid a shitload and they train you. Another thing he can do is take out an apprenticeship for a trade. It's hot in Texas, He can do HVAC (heating ventilation and air conditioning). Or plumbing, electrical, construction, masonry. He can get a union job or start his own business. Landscaping is another one. Tell your man to stop being lazy and get his hands filthy dirty!! Ha ha! Who doesn't want a job like that? Hahahahahaha. . . . good luck Used to live in Austin Don't know what you call it in US but here those answering emergency 111 (911 in US) calls get paid very well. Stressful and full on but no schooling required. May be paid more than some professional career positions. He would have to apply in law enforcement. In many big cities in America, a police officer can start at well above $60,000 year. (In L.A., they are starting at about $70,000... and with overtime, these officers are making more than $100,000/year)! All they need is a high school diploma. But if he takes this job, he has to be ready for people calling him "pig, Five 0 (5-0), etc.)... he may have to put some of his childhood friends in handcuffs (he'll probably be policing his own neighborhood). If he's ready to be that guy, then that's about the ONLY job that pays that much right out of high school... and maybe a longshore man job! Good luck! |
