Is there a website that shows places that hire people around 14 or 15? |
to work, I keep hearing about these places. But where are they will monster.com work? I am 14 and wanted a job, where can I work......? This is in Dallas. If I can not work somewhere I might mow lawns or something. Lol sorry for the double post but I posted it in London last time.. Teenage jobs are best done through your local school, public library or church. You will be surprised at the job opportunities posted in your Church. They might be able to hook you up in summer type jobs like caddying in golf courses, day camps for kids, life guards in town pools, etc. How about going into business? If you have a skill that you can make money on why not? For example, if you are creative and good with your hands you can make something and sell it to your classmates, friends and relatives. Or you can buy things at discount and sell them at a profit. You can also wash cars and do odd jobs for your neighbors. When I was a kid a I shined shoes on weekends. Even if you don't make money, the experience would be well worth it. It can be great money if you get to the right course, you get to spend all day out doors on a golf course, you can get tan and also get a great workout. Not to mention it teaches great lessons such as respect and hard work. In Dallas there definitely are some places that will let you caddy at your age. I caddied for several years when I was that age. Huey, you are a smart young man! At least you thought to include the city. If you are also a technical person perhaps you could offer to help a Realtor with their computer systems. They aren't as technical as they need to be. Or you could offer to help them when they need a lawn mowed near your house, or try the homeowners associations that are nearby if there are any. If you live more towards the country that may not work! Try Craigslist on the etc link and see if there is anything there that is of interest or put up what you like to do as a service! I saw a guy looking for someone to do his laundry on a craigslist posting one day! Just think out of the box and you'll find something. |
