How do I show that I am interested in a job after I apply? |
I am really interested in working for this company in the mall. I turned in an application 2 days ago. How can I show interest in the job without being annoying/bothersome. How long until I should call back? What should I say? Send a thank you note via mail or email. Follow up with a phone call in 7-10 days if you haven't heard from them, just ask them if they have had a chance to interview all applicants and ask them when they will be making their decision, and be sure to thank them once again for their interview and their time. You want to keep your name in their mind, in a positive way Source(s): I'm a manager One thing you can do right away is drop them a note and tell them thanks for the interview and you hope that they would consider you as a candidate for the position. Otherwise just call them like in 4 or 5 days and let them know your interested in the job if you haven't heard from them yet. good luck. 2 Days. Tell them you really would love to be considered for the next opening. Mail a resume every two months to remind them. Some places change managers often. They may toss it out, when they hire a new manager. Reapply every two months. I would definitely call them as letters can get lost and some people don't pick up emails. Just call and thank them for their time at the interview. If you're lucky, they will tell you whether you have the job. If they don't say anything, then just ask when can you expect to hear from them. |
