What computer skills do employers look for?

I am comfortable on both a PC and a Mac, and I have worked on Word, Excel, Power Point, Illustrator, Quark, Photoshop, File Maker, several email programs, and a few other programs here and there. What do employers look for now? Is this enough? Also, how do I get across that I learn computer programs easily? I'm interested in moving into non-profit work, so I want to impress.

Word and Excel are key. A lot of companies are still using Adobe - I don't like it. I prefer Word. When I request a report, I like to have it short and to the point, followed by data in excel format and a then a bar graph. All info placed in a tabbed folder for my review.
Data management is also a priority. Creating files for related information and storing the files on a shared hard drive and backing the files up to CD. Of course, Email - attaching files, downloading files, etc.
Just let your prospective employer know that you're comfortable with learning new computer software applications.
All of this aside, what about your English, grammar and punctuation skills? Judging by just your posting, you should emphasize that. I've had a lot of computer-literate applicants and employees that can't type a letter or memo.
depending on the company - that should be enough.
Fact that you pick up new programs easily is prob the most important
most computer employer look for people who are skilled in CORELDRAW application and other application good in programming
What skills employers look for depends on the job you're applying for. Saying you learn computer programs easily doesn't really mean anything as anyone can say that.
Learn about Access, too, it's a great database tool.
It is not a matter of learning. It is important if you used these programs in a work setting. I know Word, excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel and no one wants to give me a chance to prove that I learned these programs. Employers want experience workers only.
