What are some valid mystery shoppers programs where you don't have to pay a membership fee? |
I work for Shop N Check, but so far the money is not enough to cover the drive. There has to be companies out there that don't charge a membership fee. Infact, I was told those sites were scams. Yes, there are. Nationwide Services Group, Inc. has a mystery shopper program you can register with that you don't have to pay for. All you have to do is register, and then they will send you e-mails letting you know what assignments come up in your area. If you decide to do it, you just log on to their website and apply for that job. They will give you specific instructions on exactly what they want you to do when you go to the restaurant or shop. They'll usually want you to do something like receive help from a certain person or see if they are complying with alcohol laws. Then when you're done, you tell the manager that you were there as a secret shopper and show them a piece of paper that you get from Nationwide. Then you'll have to write a report and send it to the company. After you do that, Nationwide will send you a check. They specify the amount before you sign up for the job. The website is www.nationwidesg.com. Once you're there click on the Shopper/Agent tab at the top. There are certain criteria you must meet in order to register, such as you must be at least 21 years old, have reliable transportation, etc. If you meet the criteria just follow the links that say mystery shopper application or online application. They should accept you as long as you meet the criteria. Source(s): I belong to it and they have never asked me to send them money. Bare Associates is another valid mystery shoppers program. From http://www.pcworkathome.net/mysteryshopp... Ivory, I have heard this is one of the biggest scams around Don't ever do something like this unless you actually talk to real people and they should want to meet you too - I'd look in to the stores them-self I think with all the camera's today and real security if they hire a plan looking shopper you are going to have to interview - instead of paying to do this.... So, call your local stores, or police dept or the security team the mall uses and go from there. (I read this - pass it on...) "The mystery shopper scheme is just one of a variety of s-c-a-m-s that involve sending victims a bad check and having them wire money back from their bank account, investigators said. Many are believed to originate in Nigeria, they said." http://www.ipiu.org/forums/showthread.ph... |
