How can I get my team to go to the pub at lunch? |
Whenever I suggest it they just don't seem interested! I can't understand it - it's sunny! Tell them you are buying. Can I come and work for you ? !! My Boss has banned us from going to the pub at lunchtimes... Jealous git.. just cos he doesn't drink.. Why do you have to get your team to go there at lunch? If they don't like the place, I doubt anything you'll say will convince them. Maybe you should look for a different place to suggest. Or maybe they just don't want to go with you - and in this case you've got a whole bigger problem on your hands ;) ill work for you and go to the pu b at lunch in the sunshine!!!! Typically because they either can't afford it, or don't think it's appropriate to return to the office smelling of beer .. so you could offer to buy trhem a soft drink :-) Actually, I often refused to go because it was enough of a struggle to be polite and professional to my useless workshy colleagues during working hours and had no wish to waste my own time on them :-) tell them your paying free booze |
