Didnt go for interview? |
i had an interview today morning for a job. but due to some family problem i count go to the interview. what should i doother than sending them an apology note. GET OFF THE COMPUTER AND CALL THEM RIGHT NOW. Ask to talk to the person who was supposed to interview you and explain your situation and apologize for not calling them to reschedule. Then. reschedule your interview. On the day of your interview, be 15 minutes early, suck on a breathmint until they walk into the room and be sure to dress in the best suit / dress you have. Shake their hand, look them in the eye and apologize again for missing the first interview. Then move on. Best try another company. Call them before the interview and explain why you cannot make it and ask to reschedule. If you did not call before hand, there is no sense in sending an appology note, they will likely not bother bringing you in again. Call them. Now. Apologize profusely, explain why you couldn't make it. Cross your fingers & pray that the interviewer is forgiving. If you are lucky enough to get a rescheduled interview, show up early, well dressed, prepared, and apologize AGAIN. It is a bad impression. The chances of you even getting another interview are slim, I would try something else. You didn't notify them and apologize before the meeting? I agree with people above. I did what you did before, didn't attend to an interview. Regardless of what your emergency might have been (unless if you were hospitalized), you should have called them even at least 10 minutes prior to the interview. Looks like you didn't do it, i wouldn't even bother with apology because you don't want them to remember you. If, by any chance, they do contact you, i absolutely think you should talk to them and be honest, and be upfront. You are very sorry, you didn't call them to apologize because you were embarrassed and shamed, because this is very unlike you. This is not something you did before. hope it helps |
