When does calling and expressing interest in a job position seem stalking? |
I was always told that insisting with companies about job positions is a very positive attitude to get the job and gave a good impression to employers; though this time it got the opposite effect .... Well, if you've called daily and had been told "We'll get back to you if we want you" and you still keep calling, then that could be stalking. Or called in though you knew the job had been filled.... When you call more than once. They got the message the first time. If you keep bugging them you will seem desperate and definetly not get hired. Let them know once, if they want you they will let you know. Otherwise, move on. You should call once, and then after a few days to see if they have decided, after that any more calls would really lessen your chances of ever getting a job with that company. I can't stand to hear back from potential employees. I'll call them when and if I want to interview. It always seems like pestering to me when they call. |
