What does it mean when when they say that they'll hook me up to thier network?

applying for a job and it says that i can do it from home and they'll hook me up to thier network. What does this mean and what does it involve? Do they have to come over to do this?

We'd probably need more info to answer this question. A network can be people, computers, etc. If it's sales related, you usually have a network of people that can help you get sales leads and assistance. If it's computer related, they can get you linked into their computer network, so you have access to their software and/or info. They wouldn't need to come to your house to get you set up.
No they will give you their site and a password to get in using your computer
in short you are under them they get paid for any sales you make or the people you get under your network it continues endlessly from there good luck
