Please i need your help its really important?

i really want to work at subway but my mum keeps saying no.
my sister is manager there and she quit school to go work there, so i think my mum thinks i will quit school if i work there.
but i wont im not that stupid. i send my mum emails to ask her over and over again if i can work there and she always says no. i only want to work there for 2 weeks to save some money to buy back to school clothes. my mum said i could work anywhere else except subway. but there are so many advantages for me to work at subway. like i could get a job there tomorrow its that easy.. can anyone give me any advice on how to pursuade my mum to let me work there for just 2 weeks thats all -_-

i wish she would sit down and give you her reasons ---but i think that you are on the right track. ask her for a trial. tell her you want to work there for a month and let her see that during that month your education and grades will not suffer.
make a deal with her - if your education or grades do suffer during this time, you will quit. if not...then you can continue to work there.
i think this is a great compromise and will show your potential for leadership.

good luck :)
Tell her how much it would mean to you! Show her you are responsible! Sit her down to talk to her about your good intentions of working at subway, which isnt a bad workplace for teens!
suspect mom doesn't want you working at subway because your sister is working there and quit school. mom may be afraid you will do the same.

once one gets use to having money, very often education goes out the window, if one doesn't have a real sense of direction and commitment to that education direction.

rather than argue with your mom over working at subway, go out and try to get a job somewhere else. granted you may not get one to earn the school money, however, the experience applying for a job and interviewing for a job and learning the employee standards for other companies doesn't have a price you can put on it. it will enhance your education in ways you can't understand now and will only see years from now.

keep trying. you'll find that job that both you and mom can agree on. mom is scared. she wants you to pursue your education and not follow your sister's path. she feels your sister may be a bad influence on you and you will quite school to for easy low-paying wages now.

education determines for most of us our earning power/capacity in life. knowledge is power, don't every forget that.
You are not mature enough to have a job.

You want a job for only two weeks? Did you consider that subway would have to spend money to train you, process paperwork, supply you with a uniform, only to have you quit in two weeks?

People that are mature enough to have a job...get a job for the long-haul or only get temporary work that their employer knows is temporary during the holidays or at Christmas.

Listen to your mum, she is leading you in the right direction...you need to focus on school...not getting a job with no future other than a short-term financial solution for you.
Maybe your mother thinks Subway is not the job for you. She wants better thing for you than coming home smelling like bread. Ask her one more time and move on. Find a better job maybe, behind a desk. Or something that prepare you for a better skill.
