What careers don't allow visible tattoos?

A few weeks ago while waiting for a ride to be over, I asked a worker why she had on a long sleeved jacket in 90 degree sun, her answer was she had tattoos on her fore arms and it was against the company's policy for them to be visible while working.

Kudos to Kiddyland management.

how about important ones where personal appearance is everything. Would you buy something from someone that looks like they just got out of prison? No offense to anyone, but I wouldn't
It's not so much careers, as it is particular businesses. For example, one hospital my ban tattoos as unprofessional, while others have no policy. Really depends more on management than on career field.
Front line staff that works with the public directly frequently have guidelines like that.
