What should I do about a career? |
I am now 28 years old and still dont have any degrees or good skills other than knowing a lot about a lot of different things and have a lot of common sense and quick learning...I was also in a car accident last year and its making factory work harder, I would like to work with computers and have a lot of knowledge on them, but like I said nothing extensive or certified. any suggestions on a new career path or what to do? Looking into taking continuing education evening courses part-time at your local community college. Getting some certificates is good. Also, look into employment agencies that place people in the I.T. areas in the larger cities. Asking them what employers look for will help you select the right courses. Does your employer offer tuition reimbursement? Either way, get in school and at least get a certificate in the computer field of your choice and go from there. If you like helping people. Go to a vocational school and take night classes for a year, so you have sort of degree in some field, or you could go to college....college is always the best route. sucks now, but it's worth not being poor in the long run. Don't you want to enjoy life and not worry about money your entire life? i don't! OORRRRR-you could get a job as a fast-growing company like Citibank, they are a great company with sooo many opportunities to grow. |
