Kissing Butt?

Does kissing butt help people get futher in life
for examples....work,home,etc?
Im just curious because it seems like thats what people want you to do nowadays and I'm not down for it. Im 17 years old and im wondering when I start working and then get into my career would I get as far as someone who kisses butt?

No. Sooner or later butt kissers are found out. When that happens they fall hard. Being yourself in a respectful and friendly manner is the only way to be. Source(s): Life experience.

I never once kissed butt to get to where I am today! I wore alot of short skirts, wiggled my butt when I walked, and flirted my **** off, but I never kissed butt!

There is a difference between being respectful and kissing butt. As an employee, you should always behave professionally. Kissing butt may seem to get you further at first, but in the long run, it just gives you a reputation for being a butt-kisser.
If you do it tactfully, it can definitely work!
