What do you mean by "Ops Interview" ?

A friend of mine recently was asked to fill a questionnaire by the HR Department of a company, which interviewed him for a job. He was asked to fill a Paragraph which was titled "Ops Interview". What do the company mean by that?

"Ops" could mean operations. This could mean an acutal hands-on interview/test involving the use of equipment or machinery.

Peace and blessings!
I think what they mean is Operations Interview. They would be asking him to basically describe a little about his technical background. When i gave my HR interview they told me that my next round would the Ops Interview which was the technical round.
